Yes. Each of our apartments near MSU campus contains a complete set of bedroom and living room furniture, including a smart TV and a plush memory foam mattress.

Each apartment at The Abbot includes a full-sized refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, sink, and dishwasher, so that your student can practice their independence with ease.

Yes. Each apartment has a dedicated closet with a full-sized washer and dryer.

The Abbot is filled with opportunities for our residents to hang out, socialize, and get to know their neighbors. Our rooftop boasts a deluxe hot tub, a grilling station, a courtyard, and an indoor sky lounge that are designed for student life.

Yes. After-hours maintenance support is available 24/7 for emergencies inside each apartment. To reach our on-call maintenance member, simply call our office phone, and an operator will assist you.

Yes. On-site is an indoor, secure package facility where residents can access mail and packages.

Personal property coverage protects residents from being held financially responsible for certain kinds of property damage outside of the landlord’s control. This kind of coverage voids the landlord’s right to seek reimbursement for damage caused by negligent action of you, your roommates, or guests. Residents can choose to either opt in to the community’s Damage Liability Waiver Program for an additional $17 a month or obtain their own policy that covers up to $100,000 in damages.

No, roommate matching is not available at The Abbot.

To apply to live at The Abbot this upcoming academic year, simply select your desired floor plan and proceed with the “Apply Now” button. Fill out the application with your student, and contact the leasing office if you have any questions. The lease is finalized once your application is approved and both parties have signed the contract.

The Abbot exclusively offers joint leases, which means all occupants of the apartment are on the same lease contract. This means that monthly installments are charged in one sum to be divided up and paid by each roommate separately.

Monthly installments are due on the first of each month. They may be paid online by ACH, debit, or credit card through our resident portal, and convenience fees may apply. No cash is accepted. Failure to pay an installment on time may result in late fees; contact the leasing office for more information.

Lease renewals are offered yearly on a case-by-case basis. If the resident is in good standing and their current unit is still available, residents can re-sign their lease at any time through the online resident portal.

Apartments, common areas, and amenity spaces are all controlled via electronic lock.
